Gary Evans
Chairman, CTO
Gary heads up the programming development within CommerceXchange. Gary's vision and his ability to apply this based on his own practical experience of running an indirect channel dealership has been instrumental in establishing our applications at the forefront of the industry. Prior to joining CommerceXchange Gary ran the IT and software development division of XPD, a leading office products dealer group and prior to that his own successful CAD and computer dealership.
Nic Perryman
Managing Director EMEA
Nic, BSc (Hons), MBA, FCIM, heads up CommerceXchange EMEA and brings extensive commercial and operational experience in the internet, software and communications markets. Nic will continue to drive the commercial and strategic development of the business.
Prior to joining CommerceXchange Nic held numerous executive positions in the high tech sector including Head of Business Marketing for Mercury Communications and as an eBusiness Strategy Consultant for BT. Nic was also Vice President of VerticalNet where he negotiated, launched and managed the growth of a £127m joint venture between British Telecom and VerticalNet Inc. Nic was also Chief Operating and Commercial Officer of Aquadia.NV, an online eProcurement Joint Venture between Thames Water and its French partner Suez Environments.
Simon Thorp
Associate Director - Marketing & Media Consultancy
Simon's 25 year career seen him work across a variety of sectors - journalism, travel (tour operating, online/call centre agents, and airlines), B2B and B2C office supplies, international charities and media buying agencies. He has held senior positions at Inghams Travel, British Airways, Debonair, Dudley Stationery, British Executive Service Overseas, Como Street Travel and MNC. He has extensive experience, particularly in business planning and "return on investment" based on and off line marketing for "challenger brands" and market leaders, which has been gained most recently at board level. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Travel and Tourism and the Tourism Society, a Member of the Institute of Directors, Member of the Guild of Travel and Tourism and a Member of British Expertise.
Mel Jensen
Client Project Manager
Mel Jensen comes from a strong IT background managing both Support and Software Control & Distribution teams in organisations such as Accenture, Securicor and Sainsburys. She now works as a Client Project Manager for CommerceXchange.
Her main focus is on identifying and delivering online system enhancements to make the technology as user-friendly and efficient as possible.
