Can I bulk upload custom products?
Yes, very easily, although you can only upload bulk products into a single category, and you cannot upload images or long descriptions - these will need to be edited or added at a later point.

Should you need to upload into multiple categories, or upload images and long descriptions at the same time, you require a Custom Catalogue.
  1. Log into the dealer admin area
  2. Select 'Edit existing websites'
  3. Click on the appropriate company name
  4. Click on 'custom products'
  5. Select the appropriate catalogue
  6. Click on the plus symbol to add a new product:



  7. Select a Category
  8. Select a second level Category
  9. Select a or add a third level Category
  10. Select a or add a manufacturer / brand
  11. Select the radio button which says 'Add up to 100 products via TAB delimited file'




  12. Click on the 'click here to process button
  13. You will be taken to a page where you will to upload you TAB delimited file. You may create the file in excel, and the columns are as follows, however, there is no need to include these headers in the file:
    • Unique Product Code - 50 characters maximum
    • Part Description - 250 characters maximum
    • Stock - 1 = in stock, 0 = out of stock
    • Pack - 1 = in stock, 0 = out of stock
    • List Price - numerical and decimal
    • Part Cost - numerical and decimal
    So, the file would look like this:



    Ensure you save the save as a TAB delimited file! To do this save as file type 'Text (Tab delimited)' in excel.

    You must upload a cost price, and your sale price will be configured using dynamic margins or by uploading a static price file.
  14. Update when ready

  16. For the product to show on the site, you must ensure that you set pricing. This can either be don using static file or the dynamic file
