CX provide a range of eCommerce solutions which contain pricing and stock data from various distribution sources, plus rich content data (product code, image, description) from Etilize. A bi-product of the eCommerce solution is the ability to export data that is held on the system in selected formats to list on a number of pricing comparison websites (including Google Shopping) for the purposes of driving traffic to the eCommerce solution.
CX will endeavour to provide export files that support the mandatory data fields of the selected pricing comparison sites, however CX can only provide data that is already held on the eCommerce solution. For dealers that wish to onward manage the comparison site data file to include additional recommended fields and/or required fields that the eCommerce dataset does not support they can download the file rather than link it automatically to their Google Merchant Account and add the additional information they require before uploading the file. Google does not communicate onward developments to eCommerce providers in advance; therefore CX is reliant upon user feedback as to upcoming changes/developments by Google which CX will endeavour to accommodate where the required information is available within the existing eCommerce solution.
