Unfortunately, due to the nature of the internet, we are unable to guarantee the delivery of an email once it has left our servers, hoever, there are a few things that can be checked.
Some customers might not receive emails from the system, as the dealers email address being sent from CommerceXchanges IP address might not match SPF records setup for a reseller in their DNS.
If affected by this issue, you must declare a SPF record in your Domain DNS. This tells the receiving email system that you will be transmitting emails from our IP range and such emails are not SPAM.
To declare this, add a TXT type DNS record :- v=spf1 ip4:79.99.68.0/24
If you are unsure how to do this please contact your Domain Povider.
If this does not work, please try the following:
- Test the email address you're sending the order confirmation to is working OK
- Ask the client to check that this email has not gone into their junk email folder (if you have one)
- Ask the client to check with their IT person that these mails are not stuck on their server
- Ask the client to add the sending email address to their whitelist/safe senders list
- Ask the client to contact their ISP and ask them to do the same.
If you have followed these steps and been unable to resolve the problem, please log your problem with the helpdesk for further assistance.
